It is important to bear in mind that QUEENS skate dine bowl has been allowing the General Public to skate, and whilst the General Public are not compelled by the venue to skate, there is an element of trust which the General Public has in regards to the safety of the rink.

A skater who has never skated before can get seriously injured if they trust that the water on the ice is normal, lose grip, and fall.

A skater who has never skated before will not consider that serious gouges taken out of the ice (by any cause) will be something they must look out for.

A skater who has never skated before will not consider that ice can be like slush, and thus cause them to fall very hard.

A skater who has some experience may also fall victim to these same issues.

Many people in the General Public will not demand a refund but instead attempt to skate on ice which they consider may be slightly unsafe because they wish to avoid confrontation.

Many people in the General Public travel long distances to visit QUEENS skate dine bowl, so will be against not just "trying and seeing how it goes".

For these reasons, it is expected that QUEENS skate dine bowl put in the work required to keep the public safe, ideally before accidents happen.
